District Supervisor

Job Summary
  • Coordinate workflow and monitor activities to assist field clerical management in ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions that meet established guidelines.
  • Conduct compliance and quality control audits and provide management with timely feedback and statistical results.
  • Partner with the Agency Manager to improve the district's overall effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and develop clerical staff using the performance management model.
  • Train new financial associates on SPIRIT functions, form completion, reports, and standard office procedures.
  • This position represents the district office in weekly and monthly meetings and Company committees as needed.
  • Readily identify and implement process improvements.
  • Handle complex customer issues.
Job Requirements
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interpret and communicate business needs between field and home office in a clear and concise manner. Will be expected to provide examples of written work such as correspondence, reports, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, identifying client problems/issues, providing and initiating effective solutions. Skill in effectively articulating information to clients in an empathetic and understanding manner to resolve customer concerns/inquiries.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multiple assignments and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Expected to cite examples of organization skills and methods used to manage or prioritize workload demands.
  • Demonstrated experience in working independent of direct supervision. Experience must include identifying and resolving problems where independent decision-making and initiative were practiced.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
  • Must provide examples from work experience demonstrating flexibility to meet department and customer needs.
  • Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of hardware and software required: Working knowledge of Microsoft word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Position Demands: Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
    • Travel needs vary based on assigned district and occasionally require travel outside the territory normally assigned.

Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Summary
  • Process daily accounting transactions, maintain and balance the field office account, and daily balance the office cash.
  • Monitor and audit open accounts items for proper placement and balance bank statements and postage accounts.
  • Accept and process millions of dollars in deposits from Financial Representatives and directly from policyholders.
  • Assist in conservation efforts by contacting policyholders by telephone following the Company processes and guidelines.
  • Complete appropriate policy transactions; thoroughly review and validate output to ensure accuracy.
  • Promptly answer incoming telephone calls while being courteous and professional.
  • Ensure processing techniques are compliant with clerical processing guidelines.
  • Research inquiries and provide prompt and accurate service to internal and external customers.
  • Support the overall goals of the office.
